Carrick is between Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright , just off the A75 (Gretna to Stranraer) road.

The area is Scotland's best kept secret, Galloway has 200 miles of beautiful coastline, backing onto mountains and moorland. There are many interesting towns and pretty villages nearby, the roads are quiet, yet there is everything you could want for an idyllic holiday!

There are many walking and cycling trails, as well as horse riding and bird watching. The coastline provides quiet beaches and safe waters for sailing and swimming alike. The area boasts many fine golf courses, the Cally Palace is only a few miles away and there are also plenty of excellent pubs, restaurants and tea rooms as well as a good selection of shops for those self-catering.
